Our Working Groups and Taskforces

By bringing together the best specialists in each area, our working groups assess key issues, share best practice, and develop action-orientated plans to drive market confidence. Each of our groups provide a focus on areas of critical importance to our members and have developed into an invaluable resource when considering specific challenges.

Legal and Regulatory

Led by experts in law and regulatory compliance, our Legal and Regulatory Working Group assesses the impact of new and changing rules and regulations, and advocates for proportionate regulation that fosters innovation in payments. Recognised as a go-to hub for our members' compliance teams, this group holds regular briefings and produces guidance that helps members meet the growing expectations of regulators.

Business Growth

Our Business Growth Task Force provides accessible learning, support and know-how in relation to launching, running, and scaling a sustainable payments business. Regarded by members as a focal point for their commercial teams, this task force gathers and shares information that empowers members to make informed decisions - from building business resilience to the fundamentals of taking a new payment product to market.

International

Our International Discovery Working Group facilitates the exchange of knowledge, experience and lessons learned from scaling a business cross-border. It brings together businesses and our association counterparts in key markets to deepen our understanding of doing business in other markets, from the rules and regulations across different jurisdictions to the opportunities that different markets provide.

Cost-of-Living

Formed in early 2023 in response to skyrocketing costs caused by high inflation and soaring interest rates, our Cost-of-Living Task Force provides insights and analysis designed to help members know and mitigate the risks, understand shifting trends in consumer needs and expectations, and identify opportunities to support consumers through economic uncertainty.
