The Payments Innovation Day 2024 (the "Event") is organised by Payments Innovation Forum Ltd ("PIF", "us", "we", "our"). By registering and/or purchasing a ticket for the Event you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Payments and Ticket Booking:

Payment via the Eventbrite platform is due on submission of your registration. Once payment has been received you will receive an automatic confirmation email via Eventbrite. 

If payment is insufficient or declined for any reason, PIF may refuse to admit you to the Event and shall have no resulting liability.

You or the person registering on your behalf is responsible for ensuring the appropriate ticket is purchased at the time of booking. If you or the person registering on your behalf books a ticket that is not applicable to you, e.g. booking a PIF member ticket when you are not a member of PIF, we reserve the right to refuse your admission to the Event.

Refund and Substitution Policy:

If you are unable to attend the Event for any reason, you will receive a full refund up to 5:00pm on 9 May 2024. No refunds will be provided after this date. Requests for refunds must be made via the Eventbrite platform. 

Substitutions are permitted at any time up to the Event start date. If you wish to change an attendee name, or make any corrections to the information provided, these changes must be submitted before 5pm on 21 May 2024. 

Event Alteration, Postponement and Cancellation:

We reserve the right to make changes to the Event format, date and time due to circumstances out of PIF's control such as a Force Majeure event. No refunds will be provided in these circumstances unless exercised under the Refund and Substitution Policy. 

PIF accepts no responsibility for any expenditure, loss or damage incurred by you as a result of the alteration, postponement or cancellation of the Event.

Participation:

Your booking entitles only you to attend the Event. All other costs associated with your participation including, without limitation, travel and accommodation costs, must be borne solely by you.

PIF reserves the right to refuse your admission or to expel you from the Event for any conduct PIF deems disruptive, offensive, dangerous or illegal. 

You are not permitted to film and/or record any aspect of the Event or use any photographs and/or footage of the Event for commercial purposes. The sharing of video content via social media or other channels is strictly prohibited at all times. 

We may film and/or record the Event by audio, audio-visual or other electronic means. You grant to PIF the right to use and distribute footage and photographs from the Event which may feature your image, name, voice or words, in any media in perpetuity for the purposes of advertising, publicity and reporting and without any further approval from you or any payment to you. 

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PIF shall not be liable for any kind of loss or damage to you or your personal property unless caused by our negligence. 

You agree to comply with all applicable laws, statutes and regulations related to competition/antitrust, anti-bribery and anti-corruption.

A considerable amount of time and effort goes into the production of the Event. We encourage you to network throughout the Event and use the time to meet customers and prospects, but you are not permitted to run a separate event, meeting or promotion at the Event venue on the same day as the Event without the express written permission of PIF. 

Speakers and Content:

PIF reserves the right at any time up to the Event start date and time to change the Event content, programme and speakers.

You acknowledge that the views expressed by speakers at the Event are their own and should not be relied upon as legal or any other professional advice. PIF accepts no liability for views expressed and advice given by any speaker at the Event or in any material shown or provided to you.

Intellectual Property:

All intellectual property rights in and to the Event, the Event content, and all materials distributed at or in connection with the Event are owned by PIF or the Event sponsors or speakers. You may not use or reproduce or allow anyone to use or reproduce any trademarks or other trade names appearing at the Event, in any Event content or in any materials distributed at or in connection with the Event for any reason without the prior written permission of PIF.

For the avoidance of doubt, nothing in theses Terms and Conditions shall be deemed to vest in you any legal or beneficial right in or to any trademarks or other intellectual property rights owned or used under license by PIF; nor do these Terms and Conditions grant to you any right or license to any other intellectual property rights of PIF, all of which shall at all times remain the exclusive property of PIF.

Disclaimer of Warranties:

PIF gives no warranties in respect of any aspect of the Event or any materials related thereto or offered at the Event and, to the fullest extent possible under these Terms & Conditions, disclaims all implied warranties, including but not limited to warranties of
fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, timeliness, and merchantability.

The Event is provided on an “as-is” basis. PIF does not accept any responsibility or liability for reliance by you or any person on any aspect of the Event or any information provided at the Event.
