We are delighted to announce Paul Harris, a partner in Osborne Clarke’s Financial Institutions Group, as the new co-chair of the Legal and Regulatory Working Group (LRWG) of the Payments Innovation Forum (PIF), along with existing co-chair Siobhan Moore, a partner with Keystone Law.

A regulatory lawyer by background having trained and qualified at the FSA, in his time Paul has advised on the full spectrum of financial services regulatory matters before specialising in payments, e-money, fintech, cryptoassets and all things innovative within financial services. Paul is a regular speaker at industry events and has been described in the Legal500 2024 as "one of the best lawyers in payment services".

The LRWG exists to identify and articulate the challenges and opportunities arising from new and changing rules and regulations impacting the payments sector. It provides a forum for our members’ compliance teams to share ideas, knowledge and practical solutions from a legal, regulatory and compliance perspective. The LRWG helps members to meet the growing expectations through monthly briefings and guidance, and advocates for regulation that harmonises the interests of industry, regulators and consumers.
