DECTA Capital, built with payment-linked financing provider SAPI, gives UK merchants a faster route to funding, directly inside the payment experience they already use.
Getting finance is still one of the hardest parts of running a small business in the UK. SMEs generate more than half of the country's private sector turnover. Yet rising costs and tighter lending criteria keep many of them from getting the flexible working capital they need to grow. The traditional route means paperwork, collateral and a slow process, which a growing business rarely has time for.
So we've partnered with SAPI to put capital where our merchants already are.
How it works
DECTA merchants can access funding directly inside their existing payment experience, without the document-heavy process traditional lenders require. There are no collateral or credit score hurdles, and offers are typically available within 24 hours.
Repayment works differently from a standard loan. Instead of a fixed monthly instalment, businesses repay a small, pre-agreed share of their card sales. A slower week means a smaller payment, so repayments follow how the business is actually trading.
SAPI handles underwriting, servicing and compliance.
Why we're doing this
We've long seen the potential of embedded finance to deliver real value to our customers. Our merchants already run their payments with us. Bringing capital into the same place, from a specialist partner, means one less relationship to manage and one less reason for growth to stall.
